How we use AI
Drafting assistance. Some articles start from an AI-assisted first draft. First, we build a detailed brief that defines the topic, targets a specific situation (like apartment living, a new baby, or a tight budget), and outlines the exact structure the post will follow.
Editing and readability. We use AI tools to check grammar, tidy up structure, and flag sections that run long or unclear.
Research support. AI tools help us pull together background information and organize research faster. They do not replace checking that information against real sources.
Images and graphics. As part of our design process, we use AI to generate or assist with some of the illustrations, icons, and graphics on the site.
SEO support. We use AI tools to help with keyword research and content structure, so our guides are easier to find and easier to navigate.
What AI does not do
- AI does not publish content unsupervised — every post is reviewed by a human before it goes live.
- AI does not invent facts, statistics, or product claims. Anything specific — a price, a safety guideline, a health-related claim — is checked against a real source before publishing.
- AI does not make our editorial decisions. What topics we cover, what we recommend, and what we say about a product or situation is a human call.

- Editing: Our human editors review, rewrite, and fact-check the content, cutting any generic filler or unverified claims.
- Vetting: We verify all product mentions and affiliate links to ensure we only include items we genuinely recommend.
Publishing & Updating: We publish the post and actively revise it whenever guidance changes or products become unavailable.

A note on pet advice specifically
This site covers topics that touch health and safety — puppy care, introducing a dog to a newborn, and similar. Because of that, we’re extra careful to check anything AI-assisted for accuracy before it’s published. We’re also upfront in the content itself: it’s general information, not a substitute for advice from your vet or doctor.
Transparency
Ask us anytime how a piece of content was put together. And if something on the site seems inaccurate, tell us — we’d rather fix it than leave it up.
